Archaeological Sites

In the state of Rio Grande do Norte, there have been discovered remainders and fossils of mastodons, tigers, and other prehistoric animals, which lived in these lands about 10 thousand years ago. Moreover, the inlands hide several caves with the most expressive ancient drawings in the world. They show animals, nature, people hunting and fishing, and so on. The Indians who inhabited the region a long time ago probably carved these drawings.
